Little Red Wasp fried chicken Fort Worth

Little Red Wasp

For some reason it has taken me quite a while to get around to visiting the Little Red Wasp in Fort Worth. Located right next to Del Frisco’s Steakhouse and Capital Grille in downtown Fort Worth. This restaurant offers a wide variety that is sure to please any and every palate.

My wife and I went there on a dinner out with our family to celebrate one of the first outings of our newest member of the family. Welcome to the world little baby Jackson! #ShoutOut

This ended up being a great place because it had some thing for everyone. It had a full bar which accommodated people that are trying to drink less beer for diet reasons. As much as it pains me to say, I am guilty of falling into this party right now. What also made this restaurant great/terrible is that it also has the craft beer. This is perfect for those that want beer or to showcase to those who have given beer up what they are missing!

This location has a phenomenal happy hour which ends at 6 o’clock but offers $5 appetizers. This helps to get some great food in front of hungry mouths for a low price while you look over the menu.

This menu is full of variety. You can get a tasty salad, a sandwich, or even fried chicken! The world is your oyster! Well actually scratch that because I think oysters are the one thing I didn’t see at Little Red Wasp.

With so much variety I decided to do the honorable thing with my diet. Postpone it to truly begin after one final hurrah. One meal to rule them all. And so I did by ordering the nashville hot fried chicken.

The chicken came out in a some incredibly generous portions which I promptly scarfed because it was my last meal. The chicken was incredibly juicy with the breading giving a good bit of heat to each bite. I still have my sweet memories of that chicken. They haunt me as I count calories and focus on greens. This is one hell of a batch of fried chicken that I recommend to anyone!

While i love the fried chicken, my wife got the Windy Meadows Chicken which also tasted absolutely incredible. Everything loaded with flavor without being overdone. With so much on their menu, it was hard not to leave Little Red Wasp yearning for more! Despite how full our stomachs were!

I highly recommend this restaurant either to put on your restaurant list or to remind you about to go to again! There you have it Fort Worth! Get out there and eat!
